Immune Network Research Ltd. (INR) is working to develop therapies that revitalize the body's immune response to diseases related to impaired and weakened immune systems.
A Focused Approach
INR is focusing its scientific research on its proprietary monoclonal antibody, mAb 1F7, which it believes has a positive effect on the immune system against immune system-related diseases, such as HIV and AIDS. INR has a world-class Scientific Advisory Board, that has been instrumental in guiding the Company's research programs and evaluating the effects of mAb 1F7.
An Advanced Project
INR is presently in the final months of Phase II for its Virus Neutralizing Antibody Research Project, a six month study on the effects of mAb IF7 on the immune system of nine macaques at the Oregon Regional Primate Centre (macaques are a preferred model for the study of HIV disease in humans). This research is conducted under the direction of Dr. Sybille Müller, Vice-President of ImmPheron, Inc., the Company’s US joint venture partner based out of Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Sybille Müller was the principal scientist in the discovery of mAb IF7, which was identified during the course of her work at the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center in San Diego, California.
The Phase II study follows the positive results of the Phase I study in which mAb IF7 normalized the immune response fighting the AIDS virus in the macaque primates. Preliminary discussions have been held with the Food and Drug Agency (FDA), and the Company is currently preparing to make an application for clinical trials of mAb IF7 as an Investigational New Drug.

A Commitment to the Future
INR intends to expand the range and scope of its research and products under development. With the assistance of its Scientific Advisory Board and researchers, INR is reviewing selected new research projects which would build on core monoclonal antibody and immune system technologies. INR's first science acquisition milestone will be sought with the aim of opening the path to related and complementary immune system products.
INR will continue its development as a research company, while building strategic alliances with major pharmaceutical companies for on-going research or for licensing products and intellectual property. INR's objectives include developing novel immune system products to the point where clear proof of principle or medical potential is established - in order to promote favourable agreements with key partners for further development, clinical trials and commercialization. INR also seeks to acquire, through licensing or collaborative research, promising technologies that complement its research and development of biological products.
