We are not a traditional biotech company.
Industries such as high tech and real estate have their merchant
developers - organizations who recognize the potential of an
idea or property. They analyze market potential, existing
infrastructure and current problems, acquire the project and
take it forward to the point of re-sale to another developer or
final market. That's what we're doing in the biopharmaceutical
industry.
When projects stall or go dormant, their intrinsic technology
value may remain high, but their financial valuations drop.
Once we acquire a project, we rebuild its value by rapidly
'solving' the problem or problems and by getting the project back
on track. Once we accomplish this, we either license, form an
alliance, or spin off the technology in order to realize a return
